English Scheduling 

This subject team uses ConexED to complete all of the following on the same platform:

• Schedule an appointment to reserve your time slot to meet with your tutor at a time that is convenient for you.
• Message your tutor directly to ask a quick question in a chat box.
• Email your tutor through the app.
• Click the ‘Knock on Door’ button to see if your tutor can fit you in between their previously scheduled appointments.

To access ConexED, please use the below scheduling widgets to choose a tutor and begin scheduling your appointment. For instructions on how to use ConexED, please visit this page. 

Cancellation Policy: In order to ensure appointment availability for all students, cancellations must be completed online 24 hours in advance of the appointment. Cancellations can also be made by contacting us before your appointment through the team email listed above on this page. If a student misses two appointments, their account will be temporarily suspended. Students can petition to make appointments again by following the directions outlined in the email informing them of their account ban. 

Required Preparation: “In order to receive assistance from tutors, students must send the following Required Preparation Materials to your TA via email at least 24 hours in advance of an appointment:

• The full course name (e.g. ENGL-041-T002)
• A copy of the draft (not needed if student does not want it reviewed)
• The assignment as written in the course
• The rubric for the assignment (if provided)
• Other relevant materials pertaining to the assignment
• Specific questions or concerns concerning their writing

Students must have access to the above-listed materials during the appointment as well. Without the Required Preparation Materials, tutors will not have sufficient information to help students with their assignments. As a result, students who do not provide this information accordingly will not receive adequate (if any) assistance from tutors.”
